SHV - S00E04 - The Exorcist (1973)

The Seeking Human Victims Podcast is back with Episode 4!

In our debut season - "The ABCs Of Horror", we look at the quintessential films of horror fandom. This week's episode is dedicated to what has been called the scariest movie of all time, William Peter Blatty & William Friedkin's "The Exorcist."

On this episode we go into the background of the creation of the film and how it differed from low budget classics like the previously covered NOTLD, Halloween and TCM in that it was a massively funded studio picture. We look at the public hysteria that came about as a result of the film, and get into a bit of philosophical and spiritual discussion on how the film effects ones psyche based on their upbringing. As always there's another "Burial Plot" where we parody the film and much more. Join us!

Hosted by Rev. Dan Wilson and The Great Muji with a roundtable discussion featuring Anni Wilson, Jeremy Stewart, Todd Johnston and Jason Griswold.

All original music by KT Grant,  any popular theme songs used in the burial plot are property of their respective owners and are only used here for parody.
