SHV - S11E01 - Shivers (1975)
Welcome to Season 11, The David Cronenberg Terror Timeline. This season we'll chart the career of the Canadian director who became known as the master of body horror. We kick things off this week with his first traditional feature film, the controversial "Shivers" from 1975. We'll look at how he got funding from the Canadian government, the influences that shaped his work and detail the battles he fought over his art not limited to having to testify before Parliament and being kicked out of his apartment. This is one you don't want to miss!
We also debut a BRAND NEW theme song on this episode. Enjoy the soothing synth-wave sounds of "Solstice" by Shredderford.
